The Abdos BIOFILL Bottle Top Filtration System is a disposable, sterile, vacuum-operated system designed for the sterile preparation of buffers, tissue culture media, microbiological media, and other biological fluids. The system is available as a full assembly (including a graduated polystyrene funnel, polyethylene neck adaptor, and polystyrene reservoir bottle) or as a separate bottle top funnel. It utilizes an asymmetric PES membrane, which is surfactant-free with low protein binding, to maximize flow rate and reduce foaming. Key Features & Benefits Versatile Options: Available as a complete, full assembly system or as a standalone bottle top funnel to fit standard lab bottles (45mm GL thread). High-Quality Membrane: Uses an asymmetric PES membrane with low protein binding, which is detergent-free and heat-sealed to the support grid to maximize flow rate. Multiple Pore Sizes: Available with 0.1 μm, 0.22 μm, and 0.45 μm pore sizes to suit different filtration needs. Sterile and Pure: Each unit is individually packed, gamma-irradiated (sterile), and certified non-pyrogenic and DNase/RNase free. User-Friendly Design: The graduated funnel is made of clear polystyrene, and the reservoir bottles feature easy-grip sides and large knurls on the cap for easy handling.
